Hello! I am the founder of the Madrid Ki Aikido Society and the head instructor. Thank you for your interest in Ki Aikido and our dojo. Looking forward to seeing you on the mat!
I have practiced Ki Aikido for almost 20 years and believe that Aikido found me, rather than the other way around.
I began training at 21 with the Ki School of Bucharest where I trained under Cristian Ion Sensei (5th dan). I also attended international seminars with Mervyn Williams Sensei and Diana Williams Sensei. In 2014, I earned the rank of Nidan with the Ki School of Bucharest.
At the end of 2013 I relocated to Prague for work. My Ki Aikido journey continued with Prague Ki Society, affiliated with the Japan HQ Ki Society. I trained with them for over five years, deepening my understanding of Ki fundamentals with Martin Jaburek Sensei (4th dan).
In 2020, I relocated to Switzerland and founded the Ki Aikido Basel Dojo, which began regular classes after the pandemic, at the end of 2021.
In 2023, I earned the rank of Shodan within the Japan Ki Society.
In 2025, I relocated to Madrid, where I have opened the Madrid Ki Aikido Society.
During this period, I continued to train internationally, attending seminars with senior instructors including Calvin Tabata Sensei, Hideo Ohara Sensei, and Shinichi Tohei Sensei, while also engaging with the newly established Europe Ki Society.
My hope is to continue on my path of practice, teaching, and lifelong learning, and to help others grow and develop through the lens of this unique art. It would be deeply rewarding!
